Enlighten Domains also provides "international" domains, but they are not managed though the .NZ portal.
Changes to these domains need to be submitted via a Helpdesk query. Queries can be easily created with an email to "support@enlightendomains.com" or browsing to https://enlightenhosting.zendesk.com/
Usually a domain must be registered by the "end user", so the registrant should not be Enlighten Domains, or a reseller. This also applies to .NZ domains. When registering a domain, please provide this detail. If no details is provided, Enlighten Domains may register the domain using account details.
Additionally, one important thing to note is that each different TLD (Top Level Domain - country, registry) may have different rules regarding the managing on the domain and it is important to be aware of the various nuances. Maintaining these details is the responsibility of the registrant, though we will help whenever we can.
For example, a .com domain, managed by ICANN, may require a domain verification before changes can be applied, usually via an email to the (previous and/or new) registrant with an approval link.
Another example is that .com.au domain requires periodical verification that the registrant may (retain) registration of that domain - in the form of a companies register (ACN) ID, or proof of Australian citizenship.
Lastly, even though .kiwi may appear to be a New Zealand domain registry, it's actually managed by a private company, and therefore we treat it like an International Domain.
Enlighten domains can help you navigate these requirements on request.
